Abstract:
In this paper Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) meander line monopole patch antenna is proposed and simulated. Total antennastructure consists of two orthogonally placed meander line antenna. Two stubs are embedded on a ground plane to increase the isolation and enhance the impedance bandwidth. Antenna dimensions are 46x65x1.6 withFR4 substrate of dielectric constant 4.4. The designed antenna is optimized and simulated for various MIMO antenna performance metrics such as return loss at two ports, radiation pattern, diversity gain, correlation coefficient. Obtained results show that MIMO antenna has low mutual coupling less than -15 dB at operating frequency range, correlation coefficient less than 0.1 and diversity gain almost equal to 10. It has impedance bandwidth greater than 1 GHz, making it good candidate for LTE - A technology. 3 mm
