Design of Bowtie Slot Antenna for Pre-Monitoring of heart failure

Abstract:
In this project Bowtie slot antenna is designed as it has wideband characteristics which is used for the detection of early heart failure. Here the antenna is designed in two shapes such as triangular and rounded shape for the frequency range of 0.5 to 3.0 GHz. The overall size of the antenna is 24×44×0.789 with mm2 Arlon CuClad 217 (tm) substrate (εr= 2.17), loss tangent (δ = 0.0009) and a copper cladding of finite conductivity is used which is suitable for medical detection purposes.
